Bought this to go with my new bedroom decor. It doesn’t look cheap or silly or out of place. It actually looks quite classy on my nightstand & hides ugly tissues boxes lol. I will be buying another for my bathroom.I bought this as a amazon warehouse deal and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived the condition is excellent. it was just over a fiver. I only wanted the metal fixing pole to make my own tier tray. Oh I would have been so annoyed if I’d paid full price.it is very small and not worth almost £20. The lower tray is around 17cm and that is metal the top tray is 11.5cm and is a smokey plastic, it’s not a terrible thing just way over price. the tray I received discounted I am happy with so if you really want one give the warehouse deal a try.Leider sehr unvorteilhaft, ein großes Stück Metall, Ohne Boden!The most striking aspect of this utilitarian item - the Square Black Metal Tissue Dispenser Box Cover - is how over-engineered it is for its stated purpose. That's not a criticism - it makes a nice change to have a product built better and stronger than it needs to be. And this, for something that is merely a lid for a box of tissues is awesomely profligate in all but the simplicity of its design. And it is a lid, or cover, rather than a holder, as it has no base, it just lifts on and off over the top of the (square only) tissue box.It is quite evidently part of a suite of bathroom accoutrements, and this aesthetic aspect is I suspect more important than the rather mundane function of simply protecting one's tissues - although if that is important to you I doubt you'll find anything more robust to do the job!It is made of very sturdy steel, though being of no great weight, and the matte black finish is pleasingly smooth, and with the sole exception of a small scratch on the inside is free from scratches, marks or imperfections. The steel is rolled into a lip at the bottom rim and around the top opening, with no seams apparent anywhere.This all makes it very strong - it can actually take my weight standing on it! - so one's tissues are perfectly safe from any remote chance of being crushed.The consistency of thickness of the steel can be gauged in the fact that it rings like a bell with a clear and lasting tone when struck, like a dinner gong.As part of a bathroom set it would look quite pleasing, but in my view something so well-made seems wasted in being a cover for tissues. I have already decided that turned upside down and with an adequate dish underneath it will make an excellent and stylish plant pot.But whatever your reason for wanting this, I can absolutely guarantee that you will have no issues with its quality of construction and finish, because it is outstanding on both counts.This two tier vanity makeup stand is a lovely addition to what my boyfriend refers to as my "easel". I have a set of drawers that I have my earrings holder, various storage containers for jewellery but had a row of things on there that didn't have homes. The trays on this holder solved that issue for me!Pros:- Rustproof coating, so hopefully it will withstand being covered in various substances- A lot bigger than I was expecting - fits a good amount in the bottom (ie deodorant, creams, foundation etc) and the top can have short flat objects like small brushes, eyebrow colour pots etc- Cute and very smart, neat design, I love the little ring at the top - it makes it easy to carry, and also like the slightly transparent top tray- Little rubber feet on bottom mean it doesn't slide around- The bottom is slightly tapered, which is a nice touch and the lips at the edges mean the contents don't fall out- The material feels solid - the bottom makes a nice "ping" noise if you tap itCons:- None so farI would say this is great for anybody who wants some tiered storage just to make some space for their makeup and beauty products. A note worth mentioning, although it shouldn't make a difference, is that the trays don't twist on the post - this is fine but for some reason I expected it to. Either way I love it.iDesign is a company that makes quality and innovation products. I have bougt their bathroom accessories in the past and always loved them.Now this product is very well built and metal is heavy and have smooth finish edge to edge. It looks and feels quality product but I am not too sure if it's needed though.I was expecting it to have a lockable bottom but to my surprise it's hollow underneath. Please see images. Now I have a very handful grandson who will just pick it up and throw it around. I rather have a cardboard tissue box as it will cause less damage than metal.My wife has suggested that we can keep this in our wetroom as it will keep the tissues dry. I believe this could a good use perhaps I was too judgemental.Would I buy this product?
