The construction of the Bamboo Bread Box is terrific. I was really impressed in putting it together as I found there where unseen magnets inserted within the sides so it made it very easy to do. I'd never seen anything like that before...of course I'm not a carpenter! :) The sanding of the edges were so nicely done and the finish (varnish) is professional as well. NO "Runs" The door opens and closes as it should and really there is nothing that I don't like about the entire bread keeper.It accommodates 2-3 loaves of bread, depending on the size of the loaves. All in all I have no reservations about recommending this for any one...also it would be a very nice gift.Lady JayneThis isn’t exactly a fair review, because I bought this to replace a bread box that I LOVED. It was huge and steel and I used it till the door literally fell off. But when I looked for it again it proved cost prohibitive, so here we are.In its favor, I will say this is an attractive bread box. I don’t have the space to stack it, so I can’t see peak to that. It seems pretty solid once it’s put together, and I like that there’s a lip around it so you can put things on top of it.I did not like that I had to put it together. In fact I let my teenager do it. She says it was a little hard to get the screws in flush, so mine are not.It holds a small loaf of bread easily enough, along with a sleeve of commercial bagels and packages of flat things like tortillas and pizza crusts. If you’re looking to put a large loaf of bakery sourdough in, it may be a bit of a squeeze.All in all it’s nice enough. It keeps the hounds from getting in my bread and it looks attractive on the counter. I wish it didn’t need assembly and I wish it were just a little bigger…. alas, I will continue to tell myself I don’t need the carbs anyway. ?Came packaged well, easy to assemble, well made, sturdy and a nice size. Exactly as described. However, my box came with the damaged glass insert. It doesn’t fit into frame properly. (Hence the 4 stars)See pictures. I like the bread box, don’t want the hassle of sending back after assembly. I will try to fix with super glue. Hopefully, it works.This arrives flat packed, but it was easy to assemble and didn't even take 10 mins. The little tools were provided for assembly. I love the look of it, it has a nice natural wood/bamboo tone. Seems sturdy, could fit 2 loaves of store bread and maybe a smaller pack of dinner rolls or tortillas all at once. I love the wide top with slightly elevated sides, or a bumper. I have our chip bins stacked on top and they seems sturdy stacked on the bread box. Overall, exactly what we wanted and solved our problem of the cat tearing open the bread packages!Large size, nice look, i had a loaf of bread, box of donuts and a package of bagels in it together or two loafs of bread. Plenty of room. Easy to assembleLast bread box had a roll-top cover which was forever getting stuck. Everyone in the family loves this new one with the easy pull-down front cover. Plenty of room inside and extra counter-top "shelf" on top.Very nice looking breadbox, fairly easy to assemble, good value for the price. I’m loving this breadbox.It was very easy to assemble. We chose not to put knob on door because it took away from the look of the box.Very responsive customer service, who eagerly helped find a solution for my issues with the shipping of the product. Not only were they efficient, they were nice.
