I can't see well anymore and tying a tiny fly on tiny tippet is an exercise in madness. Worse, I tend to drop either the fly or the tippet in the river. Solution: I tie itty-bitty flies on short pieces of tippet and wrap the line around these. Each one can hold several such assemblies. On the water I use a clinch knot to add the tippet and fly to my leader (or as a trailer on another fly). Works nicely.
