This is a beautiful, classy box with a very strong magnetic closure. In order to use the box for my purposes, I added the latch you see in the picture, making it much easier to open.I did not give a lot of thought into this purchase, I browsed a few options and felt this was the right size for nightstand knick knacks. I thought I would give it a try and just return it if it was shabby. It turns out that it was nicely boxed and wrapped in tissue paper. I opened it and the quality exceeded my expectations. The quality was better than I had hoped for, and the condition was flawless. Very happy customer and happy to recommend this product.The wood is beautiful, and build quality is good for the price. My box was not perfect- can see some of the glue at the inside edges and the lid is ever so slightly crooked but it is minor and I would buy again if I need another box. Mine did not have a velvet liner as in some pictures, but I didn’t want one so was very pleased that I didn’t have to worry about removing it.Exactly what I was looking for. Good size and the box is designed where the lid can be open with a display in the inside of the lid. Perfect for what I wanted to do.The only problem is the magnetic closure is a bit strong, making it a little difficult to open. But very satisfied with it.I use this box to host small items I have around the house. This small box is great to store small to medium sized items and is created with great craftsmanship. If you have small items you want to home this box will do it.This box is excellent value for money. It is perfect to use for keepsakes. The minimalist design allows full appreciation of the materials used. The packaging was also very good, ensuring the box was delivered free from any shipping damage.You can see the craftsmanship in this box, great quality!
