This is a well-made and well-designed product that works as advertised. It holds a vacuum very well with no leaks. It has a robust, high-quality design. The pump seals well and it takes just a few pumps to remove the air. I like that it's rigid but clear plastic, not the flexible opaque type you'd find in a cheap food storage container. Take note of the size, though. It may be too small for larger applications, but wasn't an issue for our small family. It is quite deep, though, so I think you could layer the food. It worked great on chicken, with flavor all throughout. I'm so glad I didn't buy the cheaper one I saw in a local store!
