Exactly what I needed.Ordered this product for my husband who works in construction. Bought it to go with the larger one with wheels for easy transport, as well as a smaller one. He loves the product. The only thing he dislikes is once the case is interlocked with the other cases they are hard to get apart.Very good! He’s a contractor. He loves it!!!!Very good toolbox,, love it..Item arrived with the lid cracked on one corner. Appears to have broke during shipment. Not sure what hit it to cause this. Item appears to be sturdy, solid, and well built. I just glued the corner piece back on instead of messing with a return.I love Tough System boxes. They feel indestructible, can be jet washed and can be locked with enough security to allow me time to sprint over to whoever is trying to snatch my stuff. This is the middle sized tool box of the Tough System series and is big enough to hold most of my hand tools without squashing everything. I particularly like the way it locks itself to other Tough System boxes, storing itself and my tools neatly is a big help when loading on early winter mornings. As for its strength, I regularly stand my ample frame on this to access hard to reach areas with complete confidence.Very happy to recommend this item. As an extra, I've posted a couple of photos of the tote tray as it was the thing I wanted to see when I was researching this item. Hopefully they will be of some use.Mines just arrived it looks a good sturdy tool box but mine was delivered without the "Removable vertical organiser", although it did have the tool tray. Therefore only four starsUPDATE: I sent it back for a replacement and this time it was delivered with the Removable vertical organiser included. Due to the depth of the box I fitted dividers in the base of mine in order to store hand tools upright. This makes them easier to see and remove rather than them being jumbled together at the bottom. See attached photos.What can you say, it's a toolbox, but wow its huge, a nice neat screwdriver holder and a solid top tray, I now need to buy more tools ? so much space, this help as I had a few toolboxes around the house and needed something bigger to store everything in one place and now it's so much easier to grab what I need instead of rummaging around to find what I need all my tools are now to hand, yes it's a bit pricey for a toolbox but you get alot for your money, as you can see from the images the though system isn't compatible with the tstak system but I'm not bothered tbh ?Bought this ds400 product to house some heavier hand tools lying around (this one came with tool tray). Can be stored easily and carrier around with the sturdy/strong handles. I have many other tough system boxes that house drills etc, so this is great addition. I have tstak boxes as well but the tough system line is much bigger, stronger and easier to move around with the handles at the sides. Just bought another ds300 box to house an SDS drill n bits. Would recommend these boxes for heavier tools!I am a fan of DeWalt power tools, and also of their Toughsystem tool boxes. I now own a number of different sizes of these.They are very sturdy, waterproof and easy to stack (safely) and store to save floorspace.Just realise that just like a large suitcase, it is very easy to fill with so many tools that you can hardly lift them. Because of that I find it effective to have several and use different boxes for specific groups of tools eg saws in one, drills in another, hand tools and cordless screwdriver in naother or distributed between the others.I have tried to plan things so that in general I only need to take one box out at a time.I received a tote-tray in mine as advertised/described.They are not cheap, but should last a lifetime unless they are stolen or actually destroyed in a fire or similar. Highly recommended.
