Petit Collage Insulated Lunch Box for Kids - Eco-Friendly Woodland Design, Perfect for School, Picnics & Outdoor Adventures

This lunch bag isn't cheap so I mulled it over for a couple months before buying. I finally bought it because it is so darn cute and it appeared to be sturdy. I was pleased with the vibrant design and large size. After only four months of use, I'm a bit disappointed. This was a bummer because we love Petit Collage products. The lunch bag is used only 3x per week at daycare for my 2 year old son. It goes straight into fridge and in the cubby after he eats so it isn't exactly seeing "heavy use". The shiny material on the inside is nice and easy to clean. The mesh pocket collects goober and is impossible to clean. We don't even use the mesh and it is already ripping. The problem is the seams and the interior label. Both areas are stained and cannot be cleaned. You can see that the once silver seams are now brown. I am a clean freak when it comes to my kid so this is distressing. Also be aware that the outside isn't waterproof unless you wipe it down immediately. If it gets damp the painted design will rub off. You can see it in one of the photos. I've put lunch bags in the wash in the past but would not attempt it with this bag.Great lunchbox, I bought it with the matching backpack, and couldn’t be happier.The only issue we have (we just started using it, so I don’t know if it’s because it’s brand new) is that when you lay it horizontally on a surface, the top flap ( where the mesh pocket is) is really rigid and doesn’t allow the lunchbox to remain open. I’ll post an update if this changes with continued use.I really like this lunchbox. I had it saved on my list for about a year before we bought it. It’s a great size for little ones and has all the features you need. I didn’t think my son would use the strap to carry his lunch box, but he swings over his shoulder every day. The inside pouch holds an ice pack when one is needed.Happy to have gotten what I had hoped for and was expecting as to the bag's quality. My little boy loves it too and the fact that it is so lightweight is a bonus. The size is also perfect as compared to a PBK classic or a Beatrix NY lunchbox and an added factor for me is the strap since my little boy might have a hard time holding on to it most of the time. However, we haven't used it yet so will have to update this review once we get the lunchbox to work.Love the style, the weight and practical use of this product but both my kids lunch boxes are stained and look bad now and I have only been using them for 3 months.Adorable lunch box! I am able to fit three sippy cups and a food item in it. Very easy to clean. Would recommendMy 3 year old has been taking this lunch box to pre-K for 4 months now and it’s holding up great! It is such a cute design as are all of the items from Petit Collage. It works perfect with our bento box.My 2 yo (and I as well) loves this lunchbox. It is big enough but she can still carry it. It's also very easy to wipe clean. And the design is so cute and I like that there is an option that is not obviously for a boy or girl. Getting a little sick of pink butterflies in this house.I bought this for my 3year old son to take to take lunch when he started pre school... he loves it and it’s great quality! Very very pleased!Love these easy wipeable lunchboxes. My daughter is using hers for the 3rd year in a row and it still looks mostly new.
