This was a fun and exciting family friendly movie to watch. It was interesting trying to figure out which characters were on the hero's side or against him. I like the hero being helped greatly by a heroine, too. They story follows young people so children and teens would be interested. I found out this is based on a book series, but you don't need to read them to understand the movie. As an adult, I enjoyed the movie and didn't feel that I was watching a "kid's movie".
