I purchased these sweets as a surprise gift for a very good friend i have in America. Being English i know only too eell how good these taste, and wanted my female friend to enjoy them as much as i aleays have. Well the items were shipped across from England which is why they took almost 3 weeks to be delivered. The candy is top notch as always, and my friend loved enjoying them, however the one thing i find most disapointing about ordering them via Amazon, is the non existant delivery information, therefore the sender has no idea if the items have ever been delivered, which leaves having to end up either asking the recipient, or relying on them coming forward with a thankyou email or text message. I think Amazon need to insist upon tracking information on these international deliveries so the sender can be better placed and informed upon its delivery. Its obviously considered important on all American domestic deliveries, so why not on international deliveries.I have had an obsession with these ever since my dad brought them back in some variety pack of candy when he went on business trips to London several years ago. I was reintroduced to Maltesers on a recent trip to England and had a massive craving for these, no matter the cost. I was worried that because they were imported, they could become stale, but they arrived and were just as delicious as I remembered! Shipping was estimated to take a little over a month, but they arrived within 2 weeks. Not sure if that can be expected for everyone, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise for me when the doorbell rang and these were behind the door. With Maltesers being the favorite treat of my favorite YouTuber, Danisnotonfire, I had to try some. Being from America where Maltesers are extremely hard to find, I obviously ordered some off amazon, where they had to be shipped overseas. When they arrived they were all melted together, so I put them in the fridge. They were very good when I ate them, even though I ate pretty much all of them at once because they were all stuck together XDLove Maltesers, my favourite candy of all. Delivery took lo get than I expected but it did get here before Christmas.Got a couple of boxes for a friend who had not seen these since she was a little girl in Hong Kong.. she went googoo gaga over them.. loved them!Love this candy! These are another British tradition, regularly given as gifts to young and old for decades. These were always available at parties when I was a kid. A nice, light and crunchy malt honeycomb ball covered with proper British milk chocolate not that kerosene-tasting Hershey muck. These are about as far away from the much inferior "Whoppers" as cheese is from chalk.Maltesers were originally designed in 1936 and sold as a weight loss product, targeted at women who were slimming. For many years they has the slogan "The chocolate with the less fattening centre", although generally this meant that we just ate 2 bags instead of one!Maltesers are from England and hard to find in the US so I was pleased to find a seller on amazon. The authentic product was sent however, the candy was stale and I couldn't enjoy them, ending up trashingI expected a much larger box for the price. If I could have got to the shops I could have purchased this size the smallest box they do for £1 or less. As I’m self isolating I couldn’t do this so relied on Amazon.Very disappointing present for my husband.Got done really thought they where a big box for the amount of money they cost. Far to expensive!!service fine but goods overpricedexpensive but was desperate for some and could get to a shop that sold them in time! The product was exactly the same as the photograph in the web site
