Box very sturdy and nice quality but the tile came off in shipping didn't break but did have to reglue it back in before I could give it as a gift. All and all love it and have bought multiple ones 1 st time I had to glue oneThe picture on Amazon doesn't do it justice, it's a lovely, haunting image. The box itself is well-made and unlike many other boxes I've had, the hinge mechanism is strong, so you actually have to push it down to make it close. It's lined in velvet and this is well done too, I just wish it wasn't white velvet, white and I never fail to disagree, and white always wins leaving behind some kind of stain I will have to live with or throw it away. That's my only complaint with this beautiful fairy box, I'm glad I bought it.****I have changed this from 5 stars to 3 because just a few hours after writing this review, I opened it and the middle piece which is some sort of tile, simply fell out. I could see where it had been glued, but apparently not very well. Obviously, the tile with the fairy is the reason I bought the box. I won't buy from this vendor again. I am returning the box. I am just glad that it happened soon enough for me to return it without the hassle.This little box is a Christmas gift and I think it will be a big hit. Good quality for the money. Absolutely charming!
