I chose this style both because of its useful size and the classic lattice pattern embossed on the surface.As expected, the size was versatile — good for clothing, but also roomy enough adaptable for anything from scrapbooking pages and embellishments to a scarf and gloves or a craft project. The box and its flip-over lid store quite flat between uses. And when you are ready to wrap, the box and lid pop easily into shape.My main nitpick is that the magnetic catch is not strong enough. Since I had planned all along to tie the box shut with a fancy ribbon, the magnet situation didn’t bother me. And I used a wider, fancier ribbon to make the presentation more eye-catching.This is a high quality box. Its simple to put together and holds up very well. Have already used it a couple times for gifts in the family. Will be able to use it plenty! Could also just use it to store things in instead of as a gift box.I wanted to try 1 box to see if I like it before u order more... I am really sick of wrapping presents and I often feel that they are such a smwaste of tune and money...Anyway, I wanted to get some nice boxes for the holidays and this works great! No more wrapping! Well, maybe a ribbon or a bow.The box is sturdy with glowing gold all around inside and outside of the box. It can be folded down to be stored away or transported. It is a good size box to hold all kinds of things and to be reused.The only issue is closing the lid of the box. I had to really put some pressure on folding the lid over the side of the box, it was a bit stiff, md kept popping open. I stood it up on its side and put a little weight on it to hold the lid and magnet closure together, and it did the trick.This is a good product, but the price expensive... Personally, the gift recipient or the gift would have to be really special to get this box... ha!This is the right size for a sweater or a couple of pairs of pants. Maybe 4 - 8 hardcover books. I got three of these in various sizes and despite giving a pile of gifts to my wife and kids this holiday season, none of them were appropriate sized for anything I was giving. No big deal; they fold flat and can be saved for the future.Nice, sturdy, well-made gift box. It's a bright, beautiful gold color. A good size. No further wrapping needed for this, it is perfect to gift as is. It's very thick and can hold a decent amount of weight. It is easy to open and close and stays shut after you've closed it. This box can be reused over and over for endless gifting. It's a good size for a box and can hold a lot of items inside. It comes flattened so it does need to be put together upon receiving.The gold looks a little cheezy and I wish I had gotten a different color. But I didn't, so I used a black ribbon around it and it looked a little classier.The box is great. Nice and sturdy and it you don't use the included tape on the corners, it can be flat-packed.Really impressed with quality and usefullness. I would hate to give away.
