And when I proj.. I prefer to use project boxes. Now frankly I'd prefer if they were cheaper and also the exact size I was looking for but.... Nothing's perfect.So in the life of where you have to cope with occasional intermediate disappointment but are still dedicated to making your own electronics...I don't want to give them three stars because I always mis cut the top of the box. But that's more of a me problem so four stars she gets.Other than that....Look at my works .. ye mighty and despair.Had outside for 9 months. still weatherproofGoing to have to paint it, this was going to hold a project on the outside of my garage and hoped it would match the white trim, nope it's beige.It was the right size for my job (Monitoring panel for an off-grid, generator/solar/battery system).It's a box. Exactly as advertised. Exactly as expected."Waterproofing " comes from tubular gasket which is included in the package but not installed. Not difficult to do, but requires some care to insure box will close properly and not leak.As supplied, box has no exterior openings and would be very nearly water tight. User added openings will do more to effect weather tightness.If these boxes can make it through a Texas summer, directly in southern sun, they can make it anywhere. It has.Works great. Good quality plastic, durable and strong! Has a seal. Great finish. I'm not using the weatherproof features, but definitely should be! Will order again if I need this size!Seems to be built well, light weight and easy to mount.I cut out the back and used as a spice box for wiring exiting the wall.
