Hi Everyone! This boxed set is not for the squeamish. If you're looking for blood, gore, and extreme action, then this boxed set is for you. The anime in my opinion is great and has a very good plot to it. I've watched this series every weekend since I bought it. You really get attached to the characters, and feel bad when they come to their end. But every character in this boxed set is a warrior in my opinion and fights to the bitter end. This series really makes you think. Just imagine going to sleep and waking up years later to find out the world you lived in is no more and every insect that you've ever known is a thousand-fold in size, and your species, supposedly the dominant species, is on the brink of extinction. I don't know how I'd cope in a world like that, knowing that you quite possibly could end up being a creatures dinner, and with no remorse. These creatures are not some bugs that you can kill easily, and they just keep on evolving, so the characters have to try to find different ways of stopping them. This series kind of reminds me of RoboTech and Gundam Wing, with the mechanical warriors that are used, but with much more blood and is uncut.I also purchased the Blue Gender's movie "The Warrior". By watching the boxed set first, I came to appreciate the plot and characters much more intensely then the movie portrayed. In my opinion, this is one of the best anime series i've ever had the honour of coming across. I'd recommend this to everyone who are 15+. It's kind of like Starship Troopers, and possibly was the reason that Starship Troopers was made in the first place. I can't seem to put this thing down. All I can say is, buy it as soon as possible.I don't want to say too much, in regards to the plot. It's best that you witness this boxed set for yourself as I did, to see the twists and turns, and the evolvement of Yugi and others like him. Buy this now!! Peace!
