I really like the metal nativity scene and the beautiful wood with red lining. It's made well enough to give as a gift, although it pinched my finger twice when opening. What I don't like is that the box is already small which is OK, but because the wood is thick, the interior storage space is very, very small. I could barely crush my rosary into it and get the top closed. Still. I am happy to gift it to my son.This is a very nice little keepsake box, especially for a small, chain Rosary. I doubt it would hold a larger wooden bead Rosary. Interior dimensions are 2" L x 1 1/2" W x 1" D. The Holy Family image and wood are very nice. The first box sent was chipped in the front, but the vendor sent a perfect replacement very quickly after they were notified. (Thus, 4 stars instead of 5) Very good and responsive customer service. Thanks!My grand nephew loved this as did the mom and dad. Thank goodness because it arrived after the big day. And as they live in another city, personal delivery had to wait for a while. It looked like it might become a confirmation gift! Just joking. But I recommend you have this sent directly to your First Holy Communicant. Avoid all the hassle. It took many, many days to get here, definitely not two days.First Communion gift. Box & rosary with red in pouch well made but box too small to hold rosary . Fortunately, I was able to find a rosary that fit in box.The First Communion box arrived as expected on time. The workmanship was exceptionally beautiful. The only dissatisfaction was in the size of the box, being much smaller than we had expected. I believe what through us off was the measurement in centimeters. Maybe a good idea to provide measurements in both cm and inches. We should have reviewed the comments more carefully. Both are top quality & I know he will have them for his entire life.First Communion is NOT a day to give $ as a gift. It is a special day for any child or adult who will be receiving one of the Sacraments of Initiation. That is Holy Communion, a special gift of grace from Jesus,to be remembered for life.I feel the box & rosaries were the perfect gift . The day should be celebrated with a gift of remembrance, not $.I believe the box comes from Israel & takes time to get it. Order early!The olive wood rosary beads with dirt from Jeruselem make a complete perfect gift for a child or an adult. My grandson said it was the best gift he received that day!I wish the box were a bit bigger. It seemed to be bigger on the website, but it is very beautiful and I love it!
