This is an amazing vinyl collection of Dep leppard 80s albums. I am reviewing the set itself and not the album songs (which everyone knows are 5/5). Very good sound quality to begin with especially with the first 2 albums on through the night and high n dry. With this collection I am extremely happy to see recordings included in various incarnations and releases of each respective studio album over the years on the rarities disc...so in essence this collection has all of the Leps 80s recordings. There is a hardcover book with a wonderful array of pictures of the band from this era on very high quality low sheen paper that any fan of the band will appreciate. The cons are very few but I felt the pyromania inner sleeve could have had something more than a plain red sleeve..( some lyrics maybe or pictures??) The sleeves for the Live LA forum are even worse with a cheap paper inner sleeves...what should have been the standard for all was how they did the sleeves for the other Lps with picturesand/or lyricsI am a bit unsure on how to feel about they hysteria double LP...it sounds amazing don't get me wrong (and I understand why the double LP was necessary for sound quality that some felt was lost on the original single LP version) but with 3 songs per side on each record be prepared to do some manual work to get through this album. I guess I am accustomed to the single LP 87 version (and cd) so its personal preference in the end. Sadly my single LP version is in a not so great condition so I really can't compare the 2 to really describe if the sound quality is significantly better...maybe someone who has a better copy can do this and let me know :-)Considering all this, this is a solid collection worth the money if you love vinyl recordings and Def Leppard .
