Easily grab and go to avoid replacement headaches and have what you need immediately. Passport, birth certificate. Copies of cc'c and insurance etc... It does have zipper lock with combo for privacy. Not sure of it is cut proof as it is a canvas like material and haven't tested the fireproof claim either. The only downside I see is because it is so portable, it could be stolen if someone were interested in all your important papers. You could probably lock it by the handle but again not sure of they can be cut or torn off, and it does defeat the concept of grab and go. I'm still happy to have it though. It is quite sturdy! It came folded flat, but was very easy to reassemble. The material is thick and flexible, and the zippers feel heavy duty. The inside walls feel like it is probably made from thick cardboard or paperboard; but it appears strong enough.This will do a great job of keeping your possessions or paperwork clean, dry, and dust free. And I like that it is small enough to fit just about anywhere. Overall, I really like this file box a lot.But I can NOT say for certain if this is fireproof. And it is not theft proof. The locking zippers work and are nice, but it won't stop someone who wants to get into this file from getting in. At best, I would consider this unit fire and theft resistant.This is easy to use and you can fit a lot of files in itI was very disappointed when I realized there was nothing inside to hold the file folders. All of the pictures cleverly hide this fact. Your files will have to lay in the bottom of the box. This asks if it's water resistant. What kind of a stupid question is that, should I throw in the shower to check? Durability? I've only had it for a week and it's empty because there is nothing to hold up my folders, how do I know if it's durable. I can tell you that you will not be able to put anything on top of it. Buy something else.They should clearly state that the dividers are NOT included... Attractive design Nd material.Very nice item. One zipper sticks a bit but other than that it’s a great file box and it arrived early.
