This box is sturdy. It is not easy to get the cover on once you build the wood core and adhere the foam. The foam is only an inch thick and soft. If you hit the box it will most certainly hurt. This is NOT a soft plyo box, it’s a wood box with a little foam covering it.High quality product at a great price. Customer service was very quick to send a new cover when mine was found to be defectiveThe description says easy assembly but that is a gross overstatement. I’m not a handyman but I couldn’t even get it fully assembled with the cover over it.
